  1. Anyone who has been following my recent creative journey will know i have re-kindled my love of stamping. I have recently been testing out both rubber stamping and digi stamping to see what i can do with them. I've also beeing using different pencils and pens to colour them.

This week i got myself a box of Faber Castel art grip pencils, i have to say i was nervous opening them as i have never treated myself to professtional pencils before i've always used the basic west design pencils which are great and i get on well with them but i wanted to see what the difference if like using special art pencils.

I decided to use a rubber flower stamp and just stamp all over the page to start myself off, this them gave me a batch of flowers to colour. I chose 5 pencils and decided i would see what different shades and effects i could get out of just those 5. I was really pleased, i found them so smooth to use and they worked well together allowing me to create different patterns and shades of the colours.

After experimenting with the stamp & pencils i really liked the final piece so decided to turn it into a card but adding a sentiment from the folk floral die cut range and some gems.

  2. I have to say, i'm a little bit in love with pearlised cards. PhotoGrid_1439399863872
I wanted to make a quick but pretty little card and these made that a simple job to do alongside one of my favourite ranges at the moment 'Natures Gallery'

  3. IMAG4919I changed the window display this week and as usualy the sunlight had damaged some of the stock, but that is never a problem as it just means more creative stock for me to make use of!

One of the items that the UV rays had attacked was the orange glitter strips from the new Neon range. As you can see in the photo the UV rays only drained the colour from half of the glitter strips, so i got half bright & half a golden colour! A happy mistake!

I've thought of a few different ways i can use these but as i was in the middle of testing out peel offs at the time i thought i would use them in a little card i was playing around with.

Now this isn't a card i'm particually proud of i know it isn't great but it did give me a chance to play with peel offs and the golden glitter strip.

I'm keen now to see how i can use the rest of the packet!

  4. Snowflakes

I am totally in love with the new glitter dot peel offs, i think they are so pretty! To create this card i teamed up different types of snowflakes, some from glitterations, some from the new glitter dot range and some made using my paper punch.

A simple but effective card that i really like the final look of.

  5. Good evening all, PhotoGrid_1439384264675

I checked on my jewellery and accessories stock in the store and realised i've sold quite a few of my bag charms and so got set to making a few to re-stock.

I thought i would share with you a selection of the ones i made. As you can see i've gone for simple designs but used a variety of different designs.

I find the clock bag charms do really well, i often sell these with added personalisation.

The two on the right i have used up-cycled materials, old necklaces. I enjoy turning old broken jewellery into different items.
