I have been working with the Gorjuss die cuts again recently and decided to team this calm pastel Gorjuss girl image up with a 6 x 6in card from the Owl Folk range. The style of the card with its white feathers on a pale beige colour created a great background for the Gorjuss girl. I used a coordinating ribbon bow and two buttons from the Gorjuss charm pack to finish the card.
Simple but pretty i think. What do you think?
Swans in love.
I used one of the free stamps i recieved in one of the magazines i'm subscriped too (i'll double check which and update this) to create the swan image. I then used my heart nesting die from the Xcut range. I coloured the image with my Sdpectrum Noir pens before using my Spectrum Noir clear overlay pen on the swans to give them a glitzy shene. Although you cannot see it in the photo it looks magical.
I used a 6 x 6in Owk Folk card base and finished the design using 'Denim Blue' range dome dots. Although a simple design it is really effective. I do hope you like it.
Mr. Mister range is back out of the box!
Although this range came out around fathers day i have been using the different elements to create birthday cards suitable for males. I get so many requests for male cards that i sometimes find it difficult to think of simple but effect cards i can whip up for the shop. I started playing around with the decoupage elements of the Mr. Mister range and came up with these two simple designs that i'm really pleased with.
I used a happy birthday die cut on one of the cards from the Classic Decadance range that worked well with the Mr. Mister range. I used some of the blue dome dots from the 'Denim blue' range to finish one of the cards.
I fell in love with the Gorjuss range all over again when creating this card.
I found this beautiful purple star card in the Gorjuss 6 x 6in card set and it just called out to be used. I browsed through the Gorjuss die cuts and found this lady with purple hair which i thought would go great and decided to use just two of the decoupage layers. I chose to use a strip of textured deep purple card from the core range and use the coordinating Gorjuss purple ribbon behind the die cut image i then added a matching bow on top of the ribbon that i stuck on using my Glue Dots, I've found Glue dots are now a core part of my creating essentials. I finished the card using some of the gems and stars from the papermania adhesive range. I really love this card, it is one of my favourites. What do you think?
I have been using my 'Happy Birthday' stamp from my core papermania collection of stamps again this week after the first 3 i made sold within a week of being on display in the shop. I coloured them using my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens again but with a different range of colours, although you cannot see in the photos they look super pretty and glitzy. I finished the cards again with some sequins. Simple but stylish i think and customer must too as they sell so well!
