Floral Forest card - using Floral Fun mini stamps *as seen on TV*

Posted on

Hello there,

Naomi here to share one of my latest cards using some lovely Imagine Design Create stamps.

The A7 Floral Fun set has such a great variety of tiny florals that it is easy to create lots of different looks.

I've created this card with Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Broken China oxide inks.

I blended a tiered background onto a 12cm square then used a water spray at the top of the card then held the card vertically so that the water dripped down and off the edge of the card to create the effect of tree trunks.

I then used the same inks and the solid flowers from the stamp set to over stamp. The flowers come in three sizes so I've started t the top with the largest flower and worked down to the smallest.

Next I stamped some extra flowers in all three and heat embossed them with clear powder before fussy cutting them. I attached the flowers with silicone glue.

For the backing layer I blended the same inks so that they matched the layers on the topper.

Finally, I fixed the layers onto the card blank using tear tape and foam pads, stamped a sentiment and glued it to the bottom of the card.

I love getting in an inky mess! This card was worth it though as I was really pleased with how it turned out. I hope you'll have a go yourself.

Have a fantastic week.
